    The Shepherd’s Hand was founded to serve Fort Wayne families through care, connection, and community programs. Since opening in 2018, we've grown into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, supporting neighbors with love and purpose.

    We collect donated diapers and distribute them at events to families in need, helping keep babies clean, dry, and healthy.

    We offer free cooking classes where families learn to make simple, healthy meals together and build practical kitchen skills.

    First Steps in Music Class

    1231 S. Anthony Blvd, Ft. Wayne. IN

    From 5-5:30 pm, we will host a music class for ages 0–5 and their caregivers explores rhythm, movement and song. Sessions first begin on October 2 and continue most Thursdays during the school year.

    Healthy Eating Class

    From 5:30-7:30 pm, we will offer hands-on cooking lessons for all ages in a family-friendly setting. Sessions first begin on October 2 and meet select Thursdays during the school year.

    Join us for our next Health Fair—a free event featuring free screenings, family activities and a festive Trunk or Treat with candy and creatively decorated car trunks.
